Woodbourn Thanks
Woodbourn is often rewarded with wonderful comments and thanks during the year but also after the annual autumn bull sale, for continuing to breed good commercially orientated Murray Greys. It is a pleasure to hear this from commercial and stud breeders.
As so many commercial bulls leave the mainland of Tasmania for the Bass Strait Islands and for the mainland of Australia, transporting cattle to so many distant places does not pose a problem and is done with a minimum of fuss to the purchaser. Woodbourn and the agents organise all freight.
Charles likes to help people in to Murray Greys and will do what he can to that aim. He initiated free freight, not only to Melbourne but also to Queensland. Quite a commitment when the first cow and calf units sold decades ago, made $400 and were freighted free to Queensland and drop off points on the way.
